About Us – Odyssey Institute
Odyssey Institute is the Registered Training Organisation (20995) of Odyssey House Victoria, and through its research and training has a best practice, evidence-based approach to quality education.
We deliver qualifications through flexible delivery and short courses from nationally accredited packages as well as non-accredited seminars and workshops that are tailored to the needs of client organisations and their participants. Within the professional AOD and Community sector, we deliver training in alcohol and other drugs and mental health qualifications.
We are a leader in the field of AOD training, drawing on the expertise of trainers who are skilled AOD clinicians.
Our courses are delivered through a range of modes including face-to-face, flexible and blended training (a combination of face-to-face and online delivery). With a commitment to the provision of nationally accredited training in metropolitan, regional and remote areas of Australia, we provide online training experiences that are accessible to all.
Our commitment to quality education enhances our ability to:
- Support workers to stay connected through professional networks.
- Enhance professional advancement through professional development courses tailored to their profession or workplace.
- Advance careers with nationally-recognised award qualifications.
Our trainers and course developers are experienced AOD clinicians. They continually develop and improve our course material in consultation the broader sector and with the expert clinicians at Odyssey House Victoria.
